Saturday!

Friday night, Dassah was tormenting Rista.

Saturday, we all took a trip up the mesa for a picnic and some other fun.

Bug spray? Check! Sunscreen? Check! Hats? Check! Let's have fun!

Papa brought his canoe. Mama Lynn and Papa are putting on life vests.

The "maiden voyage".

"Look at all this water, Mommy!"

Mama Lynn and Papa have a baby sized life vest, so Hadassah was able to go out in the canoe, too.

Dassah wasn't quite sure about the vest.

She didn't want Mommy to put her down. While we were out on the water, she did say "boat" a couple times.

A stump with a hole in it! The hole fascinated Dassah.

Checking out the log at the spot we chose for our fishing.

Helping Mama Lynn fish.

All tired out. Dassah finally succumbed to a nap in Mama Lynn's arms.

Inspecting our catch at the end of the day

"Wow! Fish are cool!"

Spending Time with Family

A swimsuit picture

Preston, Rachel, Kara and Lexi came to visit over 4th of July.

Lexi wants to ride in the stroller.

Hotdogs are best when cooked over a fire. How do you cook them without letting 7 kids 4 and under get too close to the fire? All at once, of course.

Mama Lynn bought matching pajamas for all the grandkids. Now to get them all to sit still and look at the camera...

On the 4th, we went on a hike. Snow on the 4th of July! Imagine that!
Preston and Lexi on top of the world! (Or at least at the top of the path on the Land of Lakes path.)

Time for a picnic after that hike.

When we got back to the house, we celebrated a joint birthday for all the grandkids.
Eating red cake

"Mom, what is this? What are you doing?"

Riding in the doll stroller

"Mommy! Look what I found! They're so pretty!"

I think this dress is so cute on her.

A thoughtful expression

Look what Noah can do!

"I want to learn how to play this instrument."

We decided to take a last-minute trip down to Granny and Paw-Paw's house. Granny's sister lives 5 minutes down the road and gave all the kids light sticks to play with. I took this on the fireworks setting, then lightened her face in photoshop just enough you can see her features a little better.

My camera died after this, so all the rest of these pictures I pulled off of my Mom's camera.

How messy can one Oreo make a boy?

Looking at the baby birds Granny has on her front porch

We celebrated Paw-Paw's birthday. Here's Granny and Paw-Paw and their two children.

Granny and Paw-Paw, two daughters, a son-in-law, two granddaughters, a grandson-in-law, and five great grandkids. There's still 11 people missing to have the entire family.

A picture with the great grandkids that were there. (I photoshopped this picture. Can you tell where? I pulled Emma from another picture and placed her in this one, because she was crawling off the chair and all you could see was her leg.)

So pretty!

Dassah really loves this rocking horse. It's probably her favorite toy.

Having fun at Mama Lynn and Papa's.

Hadassah is my sweetheart.

Playing dinosaurs with cousins

For VBS, Papa's church had a homemade train. We all went for a ride.

Despite her face here, Dassah enjoyed the train.

Emma, Abby, and Isaiah sitting on stools together.

"This is my favorite ride!"

Riding my noble steed

The noble steed can carry multiple people at once.

"Whoa! Wrong way!"

Playing a game of catch the butterflies.

This is the first time Hadassah has gone swimming.

"Mom! The water is cold!"

Showing off the swim suit Becky brought for her.

It's more fun on this side of the pool

Swinging is fun! I didn't get a picture of her smiling or laughing, though.

Here's a picture of me, just for Michael. :)

I edited all the following videos with the sound off, so sorry if the sound is loud or weird or anything.

Dassah loves her blanket. She'll go all the way across the room just so she can hug it.

My Dad's church just had VBS. Abby joined the kindergarten class. Here she is singing for the parents on the last day.

While Abby was singing, Isaiah was dancing along.

Dassah has started figuring out sorting things.
