The first part of our vacation, Mommy and the kids went down to our family's cabin in Colorado.
To shorten our trip a little, we stopped by cousin's house to spend the night.
| Noah likes his Dassah cousin. He crawled into bed with us. |
| Obi and Jubi. |
| The day before we left, Obi got in front of Dassah while she was swinging and got scratched on his cheek. |
| At the cabin with a toy car from Granny. |
| Dassah with Mama Lynn |
| Obi fell asleep while we were walking to the creek crossing. |
| Dassah had fun throwing sticks and pebbles into the water at the creek crossing. |
| All tired out. Dassah fell asleep shortly after waking up this day. She needed the sleep though, since cousins were arriving that afternoon. |
| Spending time with Papa Steve |
| Who is that under that mask? |
| Why, it's Dassah! |
| Jubilee had fun wrestling Granny's bear. |
| The five oldest kids at the cabin. |
| Swinging spiders! |
| Hiking buddies. |
| Everyone "needed" a walking stick. Obi took mine. |
| Crossing the creek with uncle Brandon. |
| Cousins enjoyed tossing rocks into the creek crossing, too. |
| Dassah by the water. |
| Two mommies, two babies. |
| Becky, Jubi, and Obi. |
| A butterfly we saw on our walk |
| Going on a walk. |
| Decorating T-shirts |
| Enjoying cupcakes |
| Granny with the kids. The kids are showing off their new hats. |
| Obi got to pose with Mama Lynn and Papa. |
| Mama Lynn and Papa Steve together |
| Dassah was serenading us. |
| We went for another hike. The kids are looking at the scenery. |
| Just Dassah looking at scenery |
| The view from a neighboring cabin's porch |
| "I'm climbing this mountain!" |
| Throwing more stones in the creek. |
| Such a cute boy. |
| Brandon and Jubi inspecting the water. |
| Just before bed, the kids received glowing toys. |
| Chipmunk! |
| Lined up and watching the chipmunk. |
| Close-up! |
| Flying jewels (humming birds) |
| I had to catch one to prove I could. I let her go after a couple pictures. |
| "Is grass yummy?" |
| Brandon decided he needed to get on the rock in the middle of the creek. |
| "Jump, Brandon! Jump!" |
| We told the kids they could wade in the water. Abby was the first to get in. |
| Ready to get in. |
| Noah got this far, decided it was too cold and didn't get in again. |
| "Let me in, Papa! I'll show them how to do it!" |
| A view of the creek from a faster section. |
| Dassah finally decided to get her feet wet. |
| Abby and Brandon waded across the creek. |
"Emma, do you want to cross the creek?" "It's too cold!" |
| Worn out. Time for nap. |
| Letting her feet warm up and dry off. |
| Another pretty butterfly. |
| Going on a longer walk. |
| Taking a break. |
| I love the interaction between Obi and Isaiah. |
| Heading back to the cabin with Mama Lynn. |
| Another bridge over the creek. |
| "Are we done, yet? I want down to crawl." |
| Who is that stranger? |
| Glow sticks and glow bracelets right before bed |
| More glow sticks. |
| All the kids in one picture. |
| Pretty fingernails! |
| Lined up on the porch again. |
| Baby flycatchers outside the bathroom window. |
| Noah and Dassah are such good friends. |
