Happy Easter!

For Easter, we went to visit Hadassah's cousins Kara and Lexi over in east Nebraska.

Dassah's making a mess while I'm trying to pack.

Lexi and Dassah. My baby is so silly.

We visited a pet shop on Saturday. Here's Lexi watching the hamsters.

Here's Dassah watching the same hamsters.

How many babies can you cuddle Aunt Rachel?

Let's all take a bath together.

Everyone is all dressed up for church in their pretty Easter dresses.

So adorable! The hat didn't stay on for more than a few seconds.

Mom, I do NOT want to pose out here in the grass.

Hunting Easter eggs! (All the eggs were empty. They were just fun to find.)

Kara found lots of eggs.

Dassah crawled all the way across the yard because she spotted a yellow egg. She didn't pick it up once she got to it, though.

Look at all the eggs we have!

Jackpot!

Kara and Lexi have a cool playset in their yard. Dassah got to go down the slide!

Dassah found a pretty!

Playing in the sandbox with Kara and Lexi.

First time swinging on a swing.

Hey, this is fun!

Kara and Lexi are swinging, too.

A ladybug on a lilac. Just because...

Daddy is so much fun.

In the car on the long ride home.

Dassah and Lexi are good friends. They even share toys.

Movin' Right Along

Dassah's favorite place to sleep is on Mommy.

"Grrr..." The tiger has claimed Mommy's phone.

This sippy cup is definitely not spill proof. Dassah's shirt is soaked.

That's not a hat!

Enjoying the sunshine outside.

"I'll help you cook dinner."

She was trying so hard to pull off her bib.

Group hug!

Daddy is so fun!

We went bowling with Aunt Danielle.

Then we went through an automatic car wash.

Next we went to Scottsbluff National Monument.
Getting into the carrier.

Mommy and baby

Standing on the brink

In the visitor center, they had bonnets. Dassah tried one on.

"Who says you need hands to hold a sippy cup?"

Remember the skein of yarn Dassah tangled in the last post? Here is the finished product.

The princess and the frog

A flowery cloth diaper.

Sometimes, I wonder what she's talking about. She's really going on about that ball.

Dassah is reading a story to Mommy.

Look at what she learned, just today!!!

10 months old!

Shortly after Valentine's Day, the camera battery died and I didn't get around to charging it for about a month. (bad mommy) The battery is charged now, so here are pictures of our little sweetheart.

Hadassah loves her vegetables. She also usually prefers to feed herself.

Homemade chicken and rice soup! Yum-Yum!!!

Grin!

Dassah with her hair slicked down. We put lotion in it, thinking it might help her cradle cap, but it didn't.

"If I stretch, maybe I can take the camera away from Mommy."

Rista is quickly running out of safe places.

Wearing the booties that Mama Lynn made.

I pulled out some yarn to crochet something, and Dassah thought she would help. It took me over two hours to untangle this skein. She's upset because she was done playing on the floor and didn't want to sit back down long enough for me to take a picture.

Dassah likes the cool noise the toilet makes when it flushes.

Look at that smirk!

"Maybe no one will notice me playing with Rista's string..."

"Mommy! There aren't any crackers in here!"

Dassah's friend Isaac came to play.

I love my pretty baby.

Wearing a froggy shirt.

She's slowly learning how to use a sippy cup.

"Wow! There's something under the bed!"

Wearing Mommy's hat.

Dassah likes Mommy's water bottle.

She knows how to use it. (mostly)

Dassah wasn't quite ready to wake up this day.

Going on a walk with Daddy. Hadassah did not want to wear her sunglasses so Daddy held her hands long enough for me to take the picture.

Coming face to face with a strange creature.

"What are these? Are they safe?"

Playing with Mommy's hat.

Lunch time!
